Going to a LANparty?

Everything Else and General are a little redundant. But I think the intention was for General to be for topics related to FET that are not for debate or question, something that is difficult to accomplish.

I would consider General Discussion to be for sophisticated debate of non-FE topics, and Everything Else to be for more relaxed debate where spamming and such is less frowned upon, but that can still be considered an intelligible conversation. If it can't be considered intelligible conversation, to Complete Nonsense or Angry Ranting it goes.

No, we have alternative science for scientific topics.... basically just science now, and philosophy and religion for those two. Basically all subjects covered. TFES works the way we use it, you try and change it and every member will eventually hate you and the site.

Maybe at first, they'll get over it. The point of new mods is change, people will learn to accommodate their nuances.

Exactly. You are needed to remove trolls. Basically battle stations type stuff. Otherwise until a problem arises, it's fine. Usually the members cooperate to fix anything (also dongs being a prime example, it has stopped.)

So now that we understand the reason for the new moderators was to get rid of the raid and noob shit and not for members to have the chance to change the forums to their own liking, you can stop moving/banning unnecessarily.

General Discussion is for general discussion, the clue is in the name. Its mainly for introducing yourself and having a light chat, it says so in the forum description. So learn to put things in the right place for fucks sake.
