Cannot randomize tracks.
With thousands of tracks to play, I keep hearing the same 20-40 songs.

No computer can create a random number. This probably includes the computer you are using.

Still, they should be able to do better than that.

This media player is better than any mentioned in this thread thus far. It is the only proprietary licensed software that I use on a regular basis.

FFDSHOW and Winamp are far better than foobar...

And since you use foobar, you are also a traitor to your philosophy, I hope you experience many a kernel panic from now on.

No. I began using foobar before I made the switch to free software, and I have not yet managed to find a free player that has the same functionality. When I do (or perhaps when I make one once I am better versed with C++), I shall make the switch. Most particularly, I am partial to a few of the DSPs I have in foobar.

You should seriously look into FFDSHOW on Windows. Best sets of audio and video codecs ever.
