I have yet to lose a debate on here, I suspect this reflect the weakness of your arguments

I think you lost the one about observing the curvature of the earth.  Not sure, though, as you haven't yet told us at what altitude you observed it.
Apart from the bit where I told you the altitude you mean. And no you simply reinforced that I was right - thanks for that by the way.

I'm sorry, I couldn't find it except for that 25,000 ft figure, which would mean that practically everyone who's ever flown a regular old airliner would have seen it.

If it isn't visble from 35,000 ft, a somewhat common cruising altitude of airliners, how is it visible from 24,000?

The accepted altitude from even Round Earth sources at which it is supposedly visible is around 60,000 ft.

*Edit*  This is an old subject here so use please the search.

We should totally ask Tom's Stratellite guards to take a pic.  That could solve the whole debate.

It is clearly visible from the ground if you look to the horizon (which incidently wouldn't wxist if the earth were flat). I don't know how you could fail to see it from an airliner, unless of course you didn't want to.

Incidently, why would air traffic routes be along great circles, if the earth were flat?

I have not seen it.  Perhaps you can canvas the neighborhood.  Really, this is an old subject and it's not advancing any in this thread.

You're calling me retarded? You did a topless photoshoot, posted a link to where we could see it, and then started asserting your heterosexuality! Then you tried to cyber with 3 men!

Hey, you're the one who believes the earth is flat, come on now  ;)

You have not seen it - therefore it doesn't exist. Not a great argument is it. You also haven't seen my dog, does he not exist either?

I don't know why you would be debating for your opposition, so yes, I do believe that you are a "FE'r".

And therefore, you are a retard.  :)

You have not seen it - therefore it doesn't exist. Not a great argument is it. You also haven't seen my dog, does he not exist either?

The question posed was that the supposed curvature of the earth can be seen at 25,000 ft of altitude.  You claimed to have seen it at that altitude.  I questioned that claim as I, along with loads of others, have flown at about 38,000 ft on a clear day and I've never seen the curvature of the earth.  I'm not questioning that you have or do not have a dog.

Mark, could you point out a part where it contains an experiment or evidence, it's sort of like me redirecting you to this site for proof of FE.

How about a text book on the subject, complete with an overview of procedures for obtaining measurements and calculating results?  http://books.google.com/books?id=qCUJAAAAIAAJ

Granted, it's an old book.  However, its age should qualify it as a pre-conspiracy work.

Actually, no. A search for "experiment" in the book gave me these exact words. "ment), then the force of attraction between m1 and m2 is

k. m1-m2" which, all in all, didn't teach me anything. And since it's the only visible way to read any, I'd rather not delve any further.

Newton was mostly right about everything (calculus, Newton's Method, cooling) and all that.... except gravity.

I saw Newton playing poker on Star Trek:TNG once ... he seemed like an a-hole ...  :-X

You asked for an experiment or evidence.  Wouldn't going out and taking your own measurements for a geodesic survey be considered evidence of the true size and form of the earth, no matter what that shape turns out to be?  To me, it sounds like the zetetic thing to do.

Lurk moar there.

Go search the word "curvature".  Section 12, beginning on p11 is has some useful information on how to perform experiemnts and use some math to measure the curvature of the earth using the fixed height tower method and some measuring tools.
