So all your evidence is in a century-year old book, and none of the experiments have been confirmed since then? Or do you have any modern evidence?

Why does it matter how old the book is? The laws of physics don't change over time.

So Newton was correct about gravity after all?

Where did I say that?

They don't. I fail to see your point.

He thinks that we think Newton used to be correct but isn't any more. For clarification, he was never right.

So Newton wasn't right about anything?  Ever?  Not even close?  Not even as a foundation for further research and/or refinement?  What about Copernicus or Kepler?  Or Rowbotham?  Weren't they right once?

Nice straw man.

Newton was wrong about the theory of gravity.  There was never a time that he was right about gravity.  The laws of physics themselves are rigid and unchanging; it's only our understanding of them that ever changes.

So then Newton's gravity was a complete waste of time and made no contribution to our modern understanding of physics and the universe whatsoever.  Glad we have that straightened out.

Again, nice straw man.  I don't think that anybody here disputes that Newton advanced our understanding of physics, at the very least as they apply to RE (which as you well know is what most posts regarding gravity/gravitation are really about).  He was just (demonstrably) wrong about the force involved.

He brought us closer to a fuller understanding, but that doesn't change that he was wrong.

Newton was mostly right about everything (calculus, Newton's Method, cooling) and all that.... except gravity.

Personally, I think that Newton was more right about gravity (gravitation) than most FE'ers (and some DAs) are willing to admit.

No indeed. The fact that is a prooven and tested theory backed up by evidence is what makes it true. Conversley the opposite make FET a complete joke.

It's funny that you've failed to provide any evidence or repeatable experiments, not counting clearly photoshopped images when we can then, isn't it?

What apart from the centuries of evidence and repeatable experiments. I've not seen one repeatable, or indeed even coherent piece of evidence from the Flat Earthers. Not even a decent photo shopped image of the earth has been produced, whilst there are millions of obviously very real photos of a round earth. Only a complete moron would claim that the moon photos were photo-shopped prior to existence photo shop.
But then I guess that's all the big conspiracy, damn it's good. Even the laws of physics obey the conspiracy!

We have many examples of evidence. We have an FAQ, two forums and a book dedicated to it, and you not reading any of them is hardly proof that we're ignorant and you aren't.

All of them share a common theme - poorly thought out half witted ramblings from the educational sub-normal. I have read them and they are painful in the leaps of faith, pure fanciful deception and science examples that a 3 year old would see through. You might not have noticed, but the book is a work of comedy, not to be taken literally. As is this website.

If this website is such a bad joke, why are you here and why do you lose 9 in every 10 debates, only winning the other 1 by using more subtle strawmen than you usually do?

How retarded do you have to be, to believe the earth is flat?

And we have a whole branch of science known as geodesy.

http://geodesy.eng.ohio-state.edu/
Quote
Geodesy is an interdisciplinary science which uses spaceborne and airborne remotely sensed, and ground-based measurements to study the shape and size of the Earth, the planets and their satellites, and their changes; to precisely determine position and velocity of points or objects at the surface or orbiting the planet, within a realized terrestrial reference system, and to apply these knowledge to a variety of scientific and engineering applications, using mathematics, physics, astronomy, and computer science.

I would take the General as a baseline, and reduce by a factor of 10 for someone like Tom. What do you think?

Oh dear. I'm away for 5 seconds and all this fail builds up? Marky, could you point out a part where it contains an experiment or evidence, it's sort of like me redirecting you to this site for proof of FE. Hammod, still no evidence. And the second post, that's just trolling. Only >1000 posters can do that.

I think you lost the one about observing the curvature of the earth.  Not sure, though, as you haven't yet told us at what altitude you observed it.

Show me evidence that prooves flat earth.

Or show me evidence that refutes the following scientists and their findings:
Einstein, Newton and Hawkins
