On this treadmill is a plane trying to take off. As the plane accelerates, the treadmill increases its speed. Once the speed reaches approx 80 mph, the plane lifts off.

This could not happen on RE, QED.

There is one fatal flaw in your logic.  You removed gravity from RET.  If we are to believe in the UA which is caused by DE in FET then you have to believe in Gravity in RET.

This is an interesting point. I would much like to hear an actual RE response to this. Otherwise, please adjust your terminology and call them seamills.

What size of airplane are we talking here?  I don't think a C152 takes off at 80 kts.  And if the airplane is stationary and just the tires are turning 80 kts its never going to get off the ground in either theory.

Im not touching the seamill one.


Here's the plane one. An airplane only produces x amount of friction against the ground.  Even with the tread mill turning all the engines have to do is overcome that friction regardless of how fast the wheels turn.  Because the wheels do not drive or force the aircraft to move.  They only allow it to roll.  Once the engines have over come that friction the aircraft will accelerate forward, generate lift over the wings and take off.

Could RE either:
