In my ongoing efforts to avoid information loss...
« on: August 15, 2008, 09:09:09 AM »
I have started storing the avatars of some regular members on my hard drive. If something happens to your avatar and you need it back, you can ask me if I have it, and I will gladly return it to you.
I'm going to side with the white supremacists.

Many times I have wanted access to a picture I vaguely remember seeing in the past and not been able to find it again. The easiest way to prevent a recurrence is to store every significant image that I see on the internet in my Pictures folder.

If I wanted my avatar stored elsewhere, I would have asked. But I keep my own archive, thank you.

Robosteve reminds me of a friend of mine who is an overly-trusting, honest, caring, and anti-corporate (for lack of a better term) genius (literally).  He would do something like this for the exact same reason.  The only reason I know you're not him is because his grammar is fucking terrible.

Consider this an official DMCA request to remove all pictures of which I have copyright ownership.

All this time, maybe you should get back to your EA.

Lulz. It isn't illegal to store copyrighted images. It is only illegal to use them without the expressed permission of the owner.
