Assumptions
« on: August 15, 2008, 11:50:55 AM »
Is there anything in the flat earth theory which is not based on assumptions?

Because nothing in the FAQ or what I read in threads have actually evidence. It's all about assumptions (like light bends, conspiracy, fake, ....)

It just shows how pathetic you guys are, basing your opinions on assumptions with no evidence or observations supporting it.

You're right. Round Earth Theory consists of nothing but assumptions.

No, not that I can think of.

Most of the FET is assumptions.  The rest is stolen RE physics.

What i don't understand is FEs explanation for gravity. If the earth has been accelarating at 9.81m/s^2 since creation then won't we be at light speed by now?

The equations of Special Relativity prevent an object from accelerating to the speed of light.  Due to this restriction, these equations prove that an object can accelerate at a constant rate forever, and never reach the speed of light.  For an in depth explanation:  Click here.

Yet your own theory imply some dubious issues with GR. I would very much like to discuss these matters with you Tom, if you would be so kind.

About that, if there can be no infinite acceleration, why is it being observed in RE science that the rate of the universes expansion is increasing, hinting at some kind of universal accelerator, physics "stolen" from FE, Sokarul.
No but I'm guess your what? 90? Cause you just so darn mature </sarcasm>

There are theories out there.  One is Dark energy.
And what are you talking about stolem fro FE, the ret does not need to steal anything.

Isn't Dark Energy the force accelerating FE? We've been saying that for some time.

Apparently its not.  If you think dark energy was quoted here, you seriously need to leave.

:o UA=DE. That's what engy calls it, it doesn't confuse silly little REers like you.

Actually there is a few UA's.  Dogplatters uses dark matter.

The only difference I know of (I subscribe to DE, myself) is the name, which was the gist of my last post.

DE is not DM.
I too thought the UA was dark energy.  Apparently its not.  Which is actually more retarded but thats another story.

Tom has said the earth was accelerating due to DE.

I never said DE was DM, I said it was essentially the UA.
