The earth is shaped like a banana

Good evening from the UK....

Until last night I didn't think anyone still believed the earth was flat, I thought wrong.
I stumbled across this forum last night and have been reading it all day today (Tuesday) - I have read some brilliant arguments - most of them normal people like myself getting infuriated with the downright stupidity of these flat-earthers that seem to be firmly stuck in the past.

I mean, come on for fuck's sake...... our whole working lives are based around the FACT that the earth is fucking round. I'm no scientist, but do you really believe - I mean REALLY believe that this photo is a fake??? (and don't you fucking think about photoshop)




Why don't you just accept the facts - the earth is ROUND. The people who put great effort into taking these amazing, breathtaking photo's of our beautiful planet are on our side. yes that's right, on our side - not against us.

At the end of the day people will believe what they want to believe, even if it is fucking bullshit. Scientology springs to mind...

Ths is like, the most perfect example of a stereotypically stupid RE'er newb post I have ever seen. It should be preserved as an example of why we get sick of seeing the same old rubbish again and again.

While I agree with you (topic starter) for a 100%, I still have to agree with most people here that photo's provide no evidence. Give me a couple of days and I will create a picture of the earth actually shaped like a banana and the general public will not be able to tell it's a fake (well they will call it fake because they know the earth is round, but they can't prove it). So if I create this photo does that prove the earth is shaped like a banana..?

The fact remains, these people will come up with whatever excuse they can think of to support their claims, however random and downright wrong these might be...

Time for a BAN-ana.
