If Gravity Doesn't Exist...
« on: June 23, 2008, 03:30:27 PM »
Then how does the moon orbit Earth, and how do all the planets orbit the sun? And no, the sun is not 32km or whatever FET thinks.

We told you to go to rehab, but you were all like "no, no, no!" ::)

These are points that have been asked many, many times. The answer is as unlikely to be given here as it was in the prior thread on this subject.

I expect this thread will decay into some kind of drivel about atmospheric refraction or incompetent astronomers.

Ya, you're probably right. We'll just wrap this up and call it a victory for RE I guess, unless someone can explain it.

The Moon orbits not because of gravity.

The Moon orbits not because of gravity.

Why does it orbit, then?
Of course, I always could just be an idiot.

That would depend on what theory (RE or FE) that you subscribe to.

The Moon orbits not because of gravity.

Why does it orbit, then?

It orbits around the Earth's magnetic field. It does that because the Moon is slightly magnetic.
