Gravitational pull
« on: June 22, 2008, 05:16:17 PM »
i read in the FAQ that the sun and stars have a gravitational pull but the earth doesn't. so how do the sun and stars have their own gravity. on what principle is this possible? According to newton, anything with mass has a gravitational field, i thought that the earth was a huge mass??? or are you people saying that newton was an idiot? i want an answer to the question not some bullshit so i will restate the question. on what principle does the sun have its own gravitation pull??

Different parts of the universe have different physical properties.

It is not a given that each entity in the universe shares the exact same properties and no more.

So what you are saying is that you don't know. I'm not an idiot, and your not a politician so answer the damn question. no shit different things have different properties, you can drink water but you cant drink liquid nitrogen, you know why? they have different properties dumbass. Properties that can be explained. you never explained shit.

What you should have said was "the FAQ's are flawed and so is this whole theory", if it's even worthy of suck a title

I don't plan on answering any of your questions because your tone has been hostile from the beginning.

An internet tough guy?! I've never seen one of those before...   How intimidated should I be? I'll try to ratchet it up a few notches just for you   ::)

see you don't get it. who said anything about intimidation. if i could get a straight answer i wouldn't have to be an asshole about it. but when i hear replies such as yours i have to ask myself, how stupid are you? you can't answer a simple question about gravity? if you asked me the same question i would say that my friend newton has already explained said phenom. so get it straight before you start assuming things about me. and be able to explain your beliefs if your gonna be on a forum, thats why im an asshole and thats just how i act toward people like you

Well, I guess the first step of your education would be to learn that "Newton's law of gravity" isn't an accurate description of physics. After you learn that tidbit you can come back more humbly and ask another question.

wow game over man, game over. you know what, your right. your perfectly right. thats why you have such an easy time proving to people that your "theory" is credible. exactly what you just said. newtons theory isn't accurate, your sooooo right, thats why your name came up way back in physics class and not newtons, oh my your so right, no wonder you have such an easy time explaining to people that the earth is flat, because you have credible books in libraries, with credible equations with your name on it. wow, im so sorry. i humble myself before you. you must be a physicist with friends in the same field who know exactly what your talking about and i must be out of the loop. i apologize sincerely. 6 billion people must all be out of the loop because they believe in a spaghetti monster and an idiot named newton and einstein. i hope one day i can be as smart as you

yeah, there was this guy, right, he went and invented a better theory than newton's, can't rightly remember his name, I know he was jewish, probably had a name like neinstein or something...

Your tone is too hostile to warrant a serious answer, as previously stated. But that's not why you're here is it? You don't want answers, you just wanted someone to begin explaining so you could call them stupid. Sarcasm doesn't hide your failure. Unless you have any credible first hand proof to back up your outrageous claims, you are also in the same boat as  most FE proponents. They rely on books written by others to back their claim, as do you. However, they provide first hand evidence when requested. You,however, have not as of yet. And even if you do now, it will be accompanied by childish name calling (calling us all stupid, gay, ignorant, etc). Burden of proof lies on you, as the challenger and as the one incapable of rational debate. Or you can continue down your current path and have every one of your posts mocked, edited, and otherwise ridiculed, from now until you finally get bored and leave or learn to participate properly in these forums.  Present evidence you can back up, or present nothing at all and become another nameless troll, the choice is yours.

Edit Also, try using proper grammar if you wish to be treated as more than a slack-jawed retard.

It's pretty much a cop out not to answer someone's question because of his "tone" over a message board. If he tone was so offending, why continue to read the thread or make post?

Different parts of the universe have different physical properties.

How do you know? What are you basing this off of?
