Sure, I'd imagine the American marker is somewhere 90
oS, which is a ring of land 1,500 miles inland of the antarctic coast. If the American explorers who planted it left from the tip of South America, then the tip of South America probably points towards the marker.
The Russian markers and bases are probably in an area southward of Russia, the New Zealand markers and bases are southward of New Zealand, while the Australian markers and bases are probably southward of Australia.
