ok so you guys say that the whole thing is a conspiracy(RE) and that all the goverments of the world are really organized but pretend not to be.

so do you really think our leaders are corrupted enough to send thousands of US troops into Iraq and have them die in a fake war just to hide that the world if flat? that doesn't make since to me.  ok so say u explain that war.  wth happened in WW2? was it all just fake and the goverments pretended to be pissed at each other and we decided to nuke japan and kill hundreds of thousands just to make it seem like the war was real?

That seems to be their logic...but none of their logic makes sense. Don't bother questioning it, they will just come up with some completely irrelevant answer to the question, or just make up some more b/s to add to their beloved FAQ, which they love to talk about 24/7.

Even if every head of state was in on the conspiracy (and I don't think any of them really are), why wouldn't they find things to fight about?

i would have to say that is not even plausible

Agreed.  That is not plausible, it is fucking ridiculous.

The conspiracy was born when the US was forced to fake space program results in order to asser military dominance in the space race.

What the hell does the US civil war have to do with this??

ok what im saying is that there is no way they are fighting over space programs when there wasnt even space programs in the 1800's.

you said that it's a coincidence that there has never been 2 countries with out space programs that got into war.  Well there have been.

unless you believe the civil war was fake too.  In that case i just give up because thats just dumb.

anyone here remember Russia being part of the Korean War?  America was against North Vietnam in the Korean War, and North Vietnam was in fact backed by the Soviet Union and China.

at that time the soviet union had already put sputnik into orbit.

so, there it is, two countries that went to war against each other that had/developing space programs.

this is all dandy unless you guys believe that sputnik is a conspiracy too

He was the one that brought up space programs, i was just the one saying there is no way thats what they were fighting over.

The Soviet Union and America were never in direct conflict. They were never at war.

The Soviet Union backed North Vietnam in many socioeconomic ways, but the two were not allies in the way the US is an ally with Europe.

When Vietnam was attacked by America the Soviets didn't roll in with tanks and missiles to help them defend their borders.

Ignoring Tom's trolling (sorry, old bean) the conspiracy doesn't rely on governments being organized (that part of the FAQ is superseded just about everywhere) only the space agencies are a direct part of the conspiracy

ok well im starting to see what you guys are saying about all this, and if i begin to think like you it makes since.

and tom yes i know they were never in direct conflict, hence the title "Cold War."  I just thought that since they were backing people up (ussr backing vietnam) that it would be the same, evidently its not.  thanks for clearing that up.

well i see what you guys are all saying about this but im afraid i will be sticking with RE for now.

Incorrect.  The hostilities of the Korean War lasted from June 25, 1950 to July 27, 1953 (after a ceasefire agreement). The USSR launched its first Sputnik satellite on October 4, 1957.

I think you are talking about the Vietnam War.
