Questions that need to be answered
« on: May 20, 2008, 07:55:13 PM »
If you refuse to answer these questions, then you really ARE in denial, and refuse to listen to anyone exept yourselves.

Well, yes, my first post here and its probably going to be the strangest and most rediculus reply I have ever posted.
I have a few questions, and things to discuss, so I will quickly state the questions and state my points. But remember, when posting here, always reply with your YOUR opinion.
So, here are the questions:
1. Isnt it IMPOSSIBLE to know if the earth is really flat unless you, yourself, go into space and see it for yourself?
2. I, personnally, myself, used MY plane, and flew around the world, flying in one direction, and only stopping to get refuled. And after a very long journey I landed, directly where I started. How do you explain THAT?
3. Yes, the government could pull of something of this scale, but how would this gain them money?
4. Lets play a game. Lets say, just for fun, that all of a sudden, it was %100 undeniably proved that the earth was round, what would you think/say/do?
5. If FE is true, is there another world on the opposite side of the planet?
6. If we really are moving incredibly fast upwards, how does helium work?
7. You COULDN'T guard the entire ice-wall with a few hundred men and some equipment.
8. How do you explain Google Earth? I can see my house from that program. And It couldn't have been done with planes, because I did some research and it would take over 200 years to get such accuratly placed photographs, for EVERY INCH OF THE ENTIRE WORLD.
9. How was the Flat Earth universe created?
10. What would be the point of spending billions of dollars on the space program, launching a humungus missile into the air in front of millions of people? The Government would only do that if the payout was a never before seen amount!

Please note that I simply IGNORE anyone who says "Read the Faq" or "You are an idiot because the plane was rigged" or "these questions are not answerable" or anything similar. I built my plane, in my own garage, with my own eqiupment, and my own special device for keeping in one direction.

Well, its time for my statement:

I don't care what you idiots think. I know for a fact, that the earth is round, you will never be able to belive that because you simply don't want to belive what other people say. I LAUGH at you. I read the Faq, read the books... and I LAUGH at it, because to 99% of all people on earth, it's the most retarded religion/belief ever, besides Scientology. We ALL laugh at it. Because some day, it will be PROVEN that you are wrong, and you will all go punch yourselves in the nuts because you belived the crap. Now, I ask you to reply, answer the questions, and state your opinions.

What type of plane was this? I'm intrigued...

As am I.  I'm a debater for RE, but I've never heard of a device to keep you moving in the same direction, other than a compass of course.
Don't try to argue with an idiot.  They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

It's clearly another teenager come to impress us all RE and FE alike with his broad knowledge. But I'll give him a chance to validate his claim. Also I don't like his tone, so I doubt I'll be answering any questions until he admits he's a liar...

The device is used like a compass, but always points in the direction you program into it. As it does not use the magnetic poles, It cannot be fooled. It's actually very simple, the "Cup" is bolted down, so it doesn't move. But inside the cup is a simple device used to tell if the plane is moving/turning. As this happens, the data gets sent to a computor, and tells the motor inside of it to rotate in a specific direction, and will always face that direction.

Also, I would appreciate it if someone could start answering the questions, which was the entire point of this thread.

Ha, I laugh at you Ski, you simply refuse to answer a few simple questions.
Also, who is Eric?

I see. And how does this device account for wind speed/direction? How did you land with out turning? What route did you take?
And what aircraft was this mounted on?

I will be happy to answer these questions as soon as you answer mine. So, I'm going to bed, its 2:00 PM here, but I will be back tomorrow. In the mean time, I would appreciate it if you would continue to post/answer my questions while I'm gone.

Good night.

I'm pretty sure he's talking about a gyroscope, so wind speed/direction is irrelevant, the gyroscope would detect change in orientation and correct the path.

1. Isnt it IMPOSSIBLE to know if the earth is really flat unless you, yourself, go into space and see it for yourself?

Nope. By studying the convexity of standing water we conclude that the earth is flat.

What direction did you fly, Westwards?

3. Yes, the government could pull of something of this scale, but how would this gain them money?

The Conspiracy charges taxpayers quite a bit of money for space programs and rocket research.

Quote
4. Lets play a game. Lets say, just for fun, that all of a sudden, it was %100 undeniably proved that the earth was round, what would you think/say/do?

That scenario could never occur because the earth is not a globe.

5. If FE is true, is there another world on the opposite side of the planet?

No.

Quote
6. If we really are moving incredibly fast upwards, how does helium work?

Helium is lighter than air and operates through buoyancy.

Google buys their photographs from geologic surveying companies.

Google Earth doesn't cover every every inch of the earth. Try zooming into the middle of the pacific ocean or in a random location in Africa sometime.

9. How was the Flat Earth universe created?

The Big Bang occurred in a single direction.

The government needs the earth to be round because ICBM's require the earth's orbit to exist.

I'm pretty sure he has no idea what a gyroscope is. Second, a gyroscope would enable you to maintain a certain attitude, but not account for a cross wind which would not need to effect pitch, yaw or bank.

Jack, how do you expect us to take you seriously when you ask questions like this?  How could we be expected to think you would understand the answers even if we told them to you?

Not to mention that a gyroscope suffers from precession, so without realigning it to the compass, he would quickly 'find' himself lost.

Who the hell wants to look in the middle of the pacific? They have takes satellite photos of everywhere, but only close up ones of places people will actually want to look at. Like even in new zealand, the less populated places dont have close up photos, but in our biggest city, Auckland, i can see my swimming pool in by backyard.

I dont think surveying companies take thGoogle buys their photographs from geologic surveying companies.

either way, surveying companies or google earth, how did they get the photos??? Planes = 200 years remember according to the OR.

Did you get 200 years by using the same aircraft he built in the garage? I'd like to see this math...

You can't be serious... I don't know where he gets 200 years from, but let's assume it's man hours just for kicks. Maybe if one guy did the compiling and flying and picture taking it would take 200 years worth of man hours. I suspect it was a team effort  ::) It took almost three and a half million man hours to produce blue prints for the BB New Jersey. Do you think it actually took them 400 years to produce the blueprints? Imagine how many hours went into building it. I bet they probably started work on it in the 13th century...

Well assume whatever you want, i could assume its in something completely different. We need him to tell us where he found this. by the way how do you get a still picture that zoomed in without blurring from a plane going fast enough for it to still be flying?

How do you get a still picture that zoomed in without blurring from a satellite going thousands of miles an hour from even farther away?
You think a satellite could take a picture, but a plane couldn't? That makes just as much sense as the last comment...

It's obvious that Jack (aka Eric) has built a long-range airplane in his garage and  invented and built a guidance system which he has ingeniously placed in a coffee mug.  He has flown his plane around the world and must now be extremely fatigued.  Who are we to quibble?

Apocalypse of the Six Faced Gods

When the heavens fall upon the earth
Man’s leaders will mutter
Man’s leaders will splutter
For the rain reign of embers
The gods did cause

Man’s wisdom had faded
His eye degraded
For the land was sided six
Earth, fire, water a mix

Man ranted, shouted, bickered and whined
The land was round the land was mine
But the gods saw the truth
And called upon man’s youth

But were fools, arrogant and childish
Believing the world to be dish
Gods burn them one and all
When the embers fall

So the gods descended
Maimed burned and rended
Rocks of flame fell from the sky
So that mans folly would die

But one child did stand alone
Discard his mobile phone
He would be no longer deceive
He was the first one the believe

The gods spared him and his brothers
And their wives, now mothers
Who would teach the cube to every cradle
And to every sane man able

Seek the truth and be spared
For apocalypse be prepared
The cube is truth the cube is true

See through the chaos and deception, seek the clarity of the cube.

 ;D

Google Earth. Do some basic research and you find that many of those pictures are taken by planes/helicopters. planes/helicopters thats belong to hundreds, nay thousands of private companies.

Oh and I happen to find random spots in the Atlantic Ocean interesting and beautiful. I saw a tanker once. Can't remember where, it was before I learned the art of the little bookmark/pointer things.
