When it is said that Antartica doesn't exist, do you mean...

Do you mean there's no land there, and when you travel south you immediately hit an ice wall? Because I know people who've been to Antartica....

The Ice Wall is Antarctica.

The Ice Wall, a vertical front of ice 150 feet tall, is specifically at the coast of Antarctica. Your friends should have flown over it.

what do you mean, they should have flown over it?

anyway, it was my grandma and her husband, and she went by boat, as part of a tour.

Then they should have seen the walls of ice at its coast.

Well, she didn't, she went on shore, looked at some penguins or something, and left.

there was no wall. and i'm pretty sure she's not lying to me.

Wait, isn't the military supposed to keep people from the ice wall? Go ahead and shed some light if you would.

No, they were not.  That would be very suspicious.

btw, those are just some photos of random glaciers.

"the ice wall IS antartica". But what about when you go on shore? haven't you watched any videos of antartica? are they fake?

also, what about the animals that live in antartica? do they not exist? like penguins and polar bears?

how can you possibly deny antartica's existence? you should take a trip there...

Antarctica isn't one long complete wall. There are areas where it slopes down, or where it has worn away due to erosion, allowing penguins and humans alike to walk up and proceed inland.

The walls of ice take up about 90% of Antarctica's coast. Look up "Ice Shelf".

well anyway upon looking it up polar bears live at the north pole. but penguins do live there.

stop saying that, it isn't proving anything. if you went there, you could go on shore, and see no wall. like my grandma has, like millions of other tourists have, and like multitudes of videos prove.

you aren't going to refute this, you are probably just going to say "The ice wall IS antartica"

why would certain parts erode FOR MILES (even though they lost contact with water) and other parts not erode at all?

and furthermore, since when does ice erode?

Ice erodes like everything else, and it doesn't need to only erode with water. Apparently, there's a lot of wind there, too.

and furthermore, since when does ice erode?

Tectonic activity has caused parts of the Antarctic coast to deform from the swellings beneath it. There are subduction zones at the coast which have created trans-antarctic mountain ranges over 11,000 feet high. Subduction zones have interrupted the ice shelf formation at various locations along the coast.

The Ice Wall is a natural formation, a thick mass of floating ice that is attached to land, formed from and fed by tongues of glaciers extending outward from deep within the uncharted tundra into sheltered waters. Where there are no strong currents, the ice becomes partly grounded on the sea bottom and attaches itself to rocks and islands. The wall is pushed forward into the sea by glacial pressure until its forward growth is terminated. When the rocks and land the ice is attached onto is pushed upwards by volcanic activity, or sucked downwards into a subduction zone, the ice shelf which was attached to it breaks off from the coast and floats off into the sea as an ice burg.

Sounds like a prudent precaution.
