I did. It shows "Antarctica" on the outside(or rimward side) of the disc, exactly where predicted.

Okay, now post evidence that your disc model is correct about the location of Antarctica...

The ice wall is Antarctica.

And the earth is flat.

This mirade of idiotic posts has shown to me that their is no evidence of an ice wall, and you frankly just pulled it out of your asses.

Are you claiming that Antarctica doesn't exist?  :o

Do you have any evidence to back up your outlandish claim?

*Rubs face...*

Grab a fucking map.

Have they removed Antarctica from maps?

Yes, it's a conspiracy.

It's a matter of projection.  A typical flat map shows Antarctica at the bottom, running all the way across.  Now you project that spot on our disc map and it completely surrounds it, because the southern extreme of the earth is all around the map.  The ice wall!

I don't think you quite understand this.

Where is the evidence of an Ice Wall, because our "Round Earth" does not show Antarctica surrounding the world.

I'm not sure you understand.  Any map of the earth shows Antarctica surrounding the earth, if it is accepted that the earth is actually flat rather than spherical.

You know, it'd go a long way toward establishing intellectual honesty if you were to admit the flat earth map predicts the location of Antarctica as well as the RE model does. It wouldn't mean that FE theory was true, only that both models successfully predict Antarctica.

Admitting this prediction has nothing to do with giving evidence of an Ice Wall.

So we should discard every photo with a horizon because you don't like it? Any reason that seismic waves can't propagate through a cylinder as opposed to sphere?

Photographs are not valid evidence.  They're too easy to tamper with.

Well that doesn't look like a wall.

It doesn't look like evidence, either. Incidentally, you spelt your username incorrectly.

Spelled, past tense.

Brilliant.

Either way is actually correct.

Spelt sounds more right than spelled. Maybe it's just you Americanners who spell it spelled.

so would you belive in antarctica being the shape it is in RE theory if someone were to fly directly over it filming every step of the way and come out the other side? if not what would you count as indisputable evidence that the earth is round, i.e. what would it take to make you belive you're wrong?

just out of curiosity, is the ice wall fairly circular or, like antarcitice, does it have icy outcrops and ice shelves and the like jutting from the general shape of it
i believe the world is an oblate spheroid. anything i say that contradicts this is purely for the sake of argument.

they'd just say you flew all along it in a circle

I believe there is probably an island that resembles RE's "antarctica" somewhere. If you filmed it I don't know what it would prove. But that doesn't mean the ice wall doesn't exist.

Three points i would like to make here.

Firstly, when i said fly over antarctica, perhaps you could fly from a known point on both Earth models and also film the compass all the way to show that you are going in the right direction for both maps.

Secondly, what do you make of the new commercial space flight, where people pay large amounts of money to be taken into the very edge of space?

Thirdly, if you were to go on one and see the curvature of the earth, would you then believe the RE theory? or would you need more proof?

If they get a system running and return with pictures of a flat(disc) earth, will you then believe FE or would you need more proof?

i would then believe in FE, yes. as long as the pictures came from more than one group (the RE pictures have come from at least 3 nations that i know of: Russia, USA and China). howver i was interested to find out if you would then believe or decide that the pictures were false.

It's possible the group would cooperate with a space agency and return with RE "pictures". I suspect that if they do get the project running and return, it will be with Flat Earth pictures. I'm not sure the pictures prove anything. I suppose an actual flight would be able to convince me where I to see it with my own eyes.
