Why is the edge at Antarctica and not the North Pole???

Hi, first post here, been reading some hilarious stuff so I decided to ask my own questions:

Why do you consider the outer rims of the land mass of your 'flat earth' to be at Antarctica? Why is this not just as likely to be at the North Pole?

Secondly, are any of the people who actually believe this stuff interested in traveling to the edges of the Earth to see the edge/limit for themselves? How many of you have done this? How many of you have been outside your own town?

Third, if you were offered a ride in a high altitude balloon to see the curvature of the earth yourself, would you accept it?

And finally, what do you think of the upcoming commercial sub-orbital and orbital space visits to be offered by Virgin Galactic and the like in the next year or so?

First of all, only four people here think the earth is flat, you will meet one of them.

Secondly, the northern half of the earth is more densely populated then the southern half, so placing the north pole at the center causes the least noticeable distortion.
