Organic molecules found on far-away planet

Methane is found all over the solar system too.  Its presence in other systems would therefore be expected?

I don't know about expected, but it certainly isn't surprising.

The notoriety being that this is the first one.

Jupiter sized, orbital period of 2.2 days, and hot.  Sounds like a great place to live.

Well not every bit of life is as picky as you. Some people like to be on a planet nearly touching its sun.....

Why should this be called alternative science?
And anyway organic molecules don't really give you any clue about life on that planet, at last basic stuff like Methane doesn't

That stuff is hardly rare in the near vicinity of stars. It may be needed for life but does not at all hint there should be life.

Well gamma rays aren't really aware of the existence of clouds, which aren't even remotely as dense as clouds on earth

Baseless speculation.  You know nothing of the conscious awareness of gamma rays and/or clouds.  And calling Flat Earth Clouds dense is just a little below the belt.
