Hi,
I'm a skeptic here, but I have to say Goodfriend has a point. Flatman, you argue like a five year old, with insults instead of logic, Goodfriend, and the other flat earthers seem calm logical and sensible.
It is a well know fact that light bends as it passes though materials, (Snell's Law of refraction)
The earths atmosphere consists of layers of air at different temperatures and pressures. It is highly plausible to speculate that as light passes between these layers if could bend away from the earth, so that a photograph taken from a high altitude would appear to show a round earth. So photos of the "round earth viewed from space" could simply be an optical illusion, kinda like train lines meeting in the distance.
I'm still skeptical though, I'll need to see some really strong evidence before I believe the earth is flat.
Flatman I think you angry posts are a sign that you feel threaten by people who have different views to you. You say that Flat earth beliefs are stupid, in that case why are you hear posting on this forum, if you didn't feel threatened you wouldn't care what these people believe, and you wouldn't be here. Judging by the quality of you arguments I think that you flatman are the retard. And by the way I have seen photos of a great wall of ice in some of the other threads. Now sod off so I can have some proper discussions with the others.
