I was merely positing that in Scotland which unlike the United states is not a thinly vieled fascist state one would be considered insane if they claimed that the earth was flat.
Okay, now your post is ripe for attack.
First off, it seems pretty clear you haven't the first idea what fascism is. If United States allows people to get away with believing idiotic things -- like that the Earth is flat -- that's pretty strong evidence that it's *not* fascist, thinly veiled or otherwise.
Your insistence that anybody whose beliefs differ from yours to a sufficiently radical degree must be insane is, in fact, a thinly veiled fascist sentiment.
Basically, I think you've picked three groups that in your ignorance of their true nature you dislike for totally irrational reasons -- the United States, fascists, and the Flat Earth Society -- and thoroughly and mindlessly conflated them so as to attack them all at once. All you've really demonstrated is that you're condescending and hateful. Well done.
As mentioned before... And answer me this... Truly this forum has lowered my opinion of human inteligence.
Yeah yeah, whatever, we've been through all that stuff plenty of times on this forum.
If this forum didn't coincide pretty well with your opinion of human intelligence, then you haven't met too many humans.
Your post supports my opinion of your ignorance. You're willing to judge humanity on the basis of a tiny fraction of its population (how many people on this forum are truly FEers?), and you're willing to assign whole nations you know nothing about with a politically-charged label that you'd be hard-pressed to define in such a way as to support your intentionally inflammatory claims.
Your contributions to the discussion detract from its quality much more than they add.
