In short, sure.
I began with reading up on Mysticism and mystical experiences, their meaning, their validity, etc. From there I decided to search more in the occult and religious texts as well as works like Charles Fort. It became clear that while every religious text I could find talked of the earth in terms of a flat surface, this was baseless and useless. The other work discussing what might be considered "wrong" with the world didn't quite fit what i got form the experience. It was obvious that it was a physical "wrongness" with the world, not an idea like Samsara or such or a spiritual wrongness with the world. The works of Charles Fort and similar, however, lead me towards thinking about science and how its been very wrong in the past and why.
From there it became obvious that the search had to be one done within the realms of science (of one kind or another), and that substantially lowered the options. I tinkered with some ideas involving fractal reality or recursive reality, still shying away from the FE theories due to its religious history. However, its hard to not search on the earth and our conceptions of it and not at every turn being faced with the literature and history behind the flat vs globe argument, so that was always there. I started thinking about it, and it became clear that I always knew at some level that the earth was greater than us and larger than any of us could truly comprehend - larger than even the heavens. It was then I began trying to combine my views about recursive earths, or earths shaped as parabolic shapes into a flat earth world view. It was around this time I started looking into this site more, at least as I remember it. Sooner after it became obvious the infinite nature of the earth.
I never really bought into the hollow earth, etc theories. However, the growing earth has been interesting to me of late; I have been looking into the flat earth implications.
