Satellites, and the False information they provide
« on: December 23, 2007, 02:04:04 PM »
Aura (satellite)- Since this satellite is fake, you know, since we can't send things into space, according to FEers, then we dont know anything about the ozone, since that is what this satellite studies. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aura_%28satellite%29

Hubble Telescope- All the breakthroughs of the Hubble telescope are fake, because it actually doesnt exist. The universe might be expanded, or not, as nothing is known about the Hubble constant, you know, the value at which the universe is suppose to be expanding.  Oh, and those accounts of those really old galaxies being found at the edge of the universe? False. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hubble_telescope#Important_discoveries

WMAP- That big hole in the universe? A lie. Because this telescope doesnt exist, that hole doesnt either.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WMAP#Findings_so_far_from_WMAP

What say you, brother Tom?
Yes, it is a birthmark.

What do these have to do with each other?

Another interesting point along these lines is that all of the X-ray, UV, and Infrared information we have about the cosmos must have been faked, because all of that data was taken with orbiting satellites.  That's a lot of information.

My dear genius, THEY WERE ALL FOUND BY SATELLITES! By your own arguments, SATELLITES DON"T EXIST! Did that clarify things for you?

OK, maybe this time you'll understand. The hubble constant was measured by satellites. As was all the discoveries about the ozone layer. And WMAP. Since you stated satellites don't exist, and are part of the conspiracy, we must disavow all of this information. Would you agree?

I think you need to read the quote again:

Pretty cool that Edwin Hubble was able to do this 28 years before the first satellite was even launched.

You're actually correct about that.  Hubble first measured the constant before any satellite-based telescopes were available.  Satellite-based telescopes did, however, offer much more precise determination of this constant.  Also, you haven't addressed my last post about UV, IR, and X-ray data.

Edwin Hubble did find it. It was verified by the telescope, IIRC, and its changing. So we don't know the rate of change. You're merely nitpicking, however. The point was, that many of the facts we take for granted were found by satellites, and if they don't exist, we must throw out the data generated there. Would you agree?

All you have to do is get the telescopes high enough.  You can do this with balloons, or maybe you can even take advantage of the DEF.

What is the "DEF"?  And can you find a balloon strong enough to hold an X-ray telescope?  Chandra weighs 10,600 lbs.

Exactly. That's a lot of balloons :D. Its much easier to imagine an object constantly falling, but moving fast enough to counter that acceleration due to the earth dropping away(its perspective).

DEF - Dark Energy Field

You sure could get balloons that can lift that much.

Do you have an example of balloons that can provide that much lift?  In addition, do you have evidence of the "Dark Energy Field", and why all astronomers claim to simply use orbiting telescopes?  If the telescope were not in fact completely free of the atmosphere, astronomers would definitely notice atmospheric absorption of the X-rays, IR, and UV radiation that they were studying, and would look for the cause of the discrepancy, thus exposing the great conspiracy.

160 metric tons.  That's a lot.

The only evidence of a DEF is indirect:  By it's very nature, we can't detect Dark Energy.

Except for its curvature of spacetime, which would be noticed in large enough quantities.

Impressive, but how high can it go?  I'm willing to bet not high enough to get through enough of the atmosphere to allow for astronomical IR, UV, and X-ray measurements.

You would rather trust in an undetectable Dark Energy than an easily detectable Universal Gravitation?

You have detected gravitation?  That's a pretty neat trick.  So, when did you discover the graviton?  Last time I checked, we could only detect gravitation's effect on stuff.

So how do you detect Universal Gravitation?

For what seems like the millionth time, using the Cavendish Experiment.  You get the exact same inverse-square law of gravitation that Newton used to derive Kepler's empirical laws.

And yes, it is a very neat experimentation.  I've seen it done.

Aaah now cwolfe, but that is an effect of Universal Gravitation....you have not actually detected Universal Gravitation itself. See?

Regardless of the underlying mechanisms PRODUCING the inverse-square law, it's there.
