Ok, so the earth is flat.  A plane departs from LAX airport en route to austrailia and it's heading west.  Explain?

Explain what? That's it's possible to travel Westwards?

It's certainly possible to travel Westwards in the Flat Earth model.

well i will admit i am new to the theory and haven't delved into the subject much but i'm under the impression that the earth is just a flat plane that ends.  So if a plane is flying west, wouldn't it just fall off the earth instead of making it to austrailia.

I understand that to gain knowledge you must question things, but if you want specific knowledge, you should really start asking specific questions.  Do you want an explanation about aerodynamics? Jet fuel? Where to buy plane tickets? barf bags? Maximum altitude reached during a flight from the city of angels to aussie-land (not meant as a derogative term)? Inflight meals? Inflight movies? barf bags? Landing gears? Flight path? How to become a pilot? barf bags? Kangaroos lifespan? How to get a job as a baggage handler? How many passengers are on such a flight? barf bags? How to become a flight attendant? Homeland security at american airports?

The flat earth map is roughly the same as the logo for the UN
