Will there ever be a map? Because without one it is to convenient for FE to be unanswerable to many questions.

no, because if a mapmaker was paid to make a map of a flat earth it would come out as a globe.

I wouldn't call it convenient, it's more of a pain in the ass.

Then post one of the maps that one of the FE propagators work off of, and if they truly don't have a map, shame on them. But since they can get every where they need to go using an RE map why does it matter to them, because without a valid map they are not bound to anything and can change the rules as they go along.  Where is Tom's map, dogplatters map, usernames map? There has to be something they use to draw from for their beliefs in FE. An old book with rough drawings isn't much to go on. The only FE maps I have seen only distract from the discussion because they are of very poor quality.

POST THE MAPS ALREADY OR GO OUT AND MAKE A VALID SCALE MAP!!!!!!  I don't know what you believe the flat earth to really be so I can't even make a guess for you. Because unless you can come up with a valid map we have to assume that all FE'ers are afraid of what it may or may not prove.

Do you realize how difficult it would be to chart every square inch of the earth?

It was done before computers, GPS, powered flight, etc. IT took a while but it was done.

Really? Who charted every square inch of the Pacific Ocean?

Mapmakers make maps of land.  Nowadays people also map the sea floor.  None of them have ever come to the conclusion the earth is flat. Infact no one in the entire world has ever come to the conclusion the earth is flat after they traveled anywhere on the earth.

Someone has.  There are accurate maps that ships rely on every day.

It is not necessary to chart every square inch of the earth to make an accurate map!!!

Lewis and Clark were able to do it and were very accurate.

It's absurd to believe every inch must be mapped to create a map of the planet. To create a functional map you wouldn't need a greater accuracy than a square kilometer or more. Far less than that I'm sure. Maybe 10km square would be sufficient.

Do FE folks at least believe that the land masses of the RE to be at all accurate? I know the location is wrong for FE but the shapes have to be pretty darn close.

If so you can all start with that and then just move them around and say this is what we believe the earth to look like. That shouldn't be to hard. So far the only ones to do that are RE people trying to bring some sanity to this discussion. I also think that most of us RE'ers are open minded enough that if there was sufficient evidence to a FE we would give it more credence than we do. But to say it is to hard to make a map, that is just silly. Everything worth while is to hard.
