oh, newton has been accepted by many more people, far longer,

are you trying to make a run at hitting every logical fallacy in one thread?
"Once again the apostles of science are found to lack the scientific credentials for their faith. This not an indictment of science; it only shows again that the choice of science over other forms of life is not a scientific choice."

Newton's theories are B.S. That statement proves that he does not have to answer you. [/discussion]

oh, you think Tom quoting a bunch of ancient equations is "proof"? i bet you can't even understand them!

newton is BS? so you don't believe in action and reaction, or inertia?

that makes me think of a story on the "darwin award" website: this guy who thought he could make cars stop with his "mental powers". he got run over by a train when he tried to make it stop!

No, I never said that. I'm glad that you're so good at reading as to make up bullshit.

newton is BS? so you don't believe in action and reaction, or inertia?

...where did I say this? Don't worry, I don't expect you to address this post, cause you're worse than Tom.

Nobody says Newton is BS. It is you who puts Newton onto this table in the first place.

I assumed you were speaking of his theories on gravity lol. If i was wrong, eh i don't give a damn. If I am right cool.

Whatever lol.

Newton and Newton's theories are two completely different things.

it wouldn't make much sense to say a person is bullshit.  what a person says or does, is usually what is called bullshit.  until we hear his intentions firsthand, it's probably pretty safe to read into the fractured english, that he meant newton's theories...

Neither a belief being widely held nor the age of the belief has any bearing whatsoever on whether said belief is true. Around 5/6ths of the world's population are religious - I'm going to go out on a limb here and suggest that you wouldn't be so keen to apply your "everyone else believes it and has believed it for ages" logic in that case.
