We eat a lot of dairy here in Finland, but I still have not managed to nail down the difference between Greek and Turkish yogurt. So I just keep buying both. Some say Greek version is drained, hence thicker (you take spoonful, you see where you scooped it from).
And to make it more complicated there is Bulgarian yogurt, too. Might be my favourite. It has a more acidic taste while Greek and Turkish are heavier with more fat. Just a different bacteria used.
Oh, and Icelanders have skyr. Which is nice, but not the stuff I usually buy.
