I wasn't trying to win that, I wanted to see what the general intelligence level of the community was. I picked a level of intelligence, stuck with it, and recorded what happened. I might record this too, although you really weren't doing much in that thread. I would have liked to get more detailed explanations for the presence of a magnetic field on this discy earth, but The Engineer ripped my act apart :-[

If you want to prove me wrong, try my thread where I actually say I'm right ;)

I can't believe you locked your thread.  Why not argue it out to the end so that you may gain a better understanding of the FE model?

I wasn't trying to argue to the end, I wanted to see where the thread would go, and how intelligent people here are. You redefined the scale on these sorts of forums, I applaud you.

I would very much like to learn more about the FE model, but I don't have the time to ask all the right questions. Is there a definitive piece of literature I could look at, or does everyone's theory vary...

The official model is explained in the FAQ.  There are aspects of Dogplatter's model that are not in agreement with the standard model are can be found in stickies and in his posts.

Is there anything more detailed than the FAQ? It's good, but it doesn't explain everything very thoroughly...

Also, not a coward. I knew if I didn't lock it, I wouldn't be able to stop. Sorry if it was a source of entertainment, I'm glad to try the roleplaying again if it was really that popular. Anything for a few giggles :)
