can't win
« on: October 17, 2007, 05:04:26 AM »
i have reached the conclusion that as far as the conspiracy isn concerned, there is no way of winning. if the government deny the conspiracy, then you will say that they are hiding something. if they dont deny it, then you will say "they dont deny it, it is true!!" so in the end we cant win
i believe the world is an oblate spheroid. anything i say that contradicts this is purely for the sake of argument.

Yes. Congratulations, you have just found the universal truth of all conspiracies. Perhaps you would like a biscuit to celebrate?

Also, as I have said in other places, the lack of evidence is evidence for the conspiracy.

The government must be doing a good job keeping the conspiracy hidden up to now, as hidden as a ghost.

The governments of the earth are deeply entwined into each other's affairs.

What two nations with space agencies have ever gone to war?

Well, I don't know about that - but many nations have gone to Antarctica and documented it. Are they all in on it too?

There's nothing impossible about going to Antarctica in the FE model.

Each of those governments even saw the 150 foot Ice Wall at its coast:

It's all well documented.

what evidence is there that Antarctica is a ring? other than somebody followed it for thousands of miles hundreds of years ago. did it never occur to anyone that he never passed the same spot twice because the coastline of Antarctica is constantly changing?

Tom, if you think that is the ice wall then you are a f*cking retard. As a matter of fact anyone who believes the earth is flat is a f*cking retard.

Tom, this is the pennisula of Antarctica, not the Ice Wall.

Antarctica is the Ice Wall. There is a 150 foot tall wall of ice at its coast.

Didn't you know that?

can you see any guards on that wall? oh wait, maybe they are trying to stop the cameraman from escaping with the film!

The point is, thousands and thousands of people go to inland Antarctica every year.

One of my best friends from University is leaving on Tuesday to go there for a 2-year on site pHD study.

Will he come back "in on the conspiracy?"

Because he's not part of any government, he's just a student. Or are all students, and Universities agents of the Conspiracy now? If so, that effectively makes me part of it, and thus nullifies my own argument.

Dr. Samuel Birley Rowbotham said nothing about guards on the Ice Wall. What evidence is there that guards are stationed on the Ice Wall?

It's certainly possible to venture inland past the Ice Wall at Antarctica's coast. The earth, after all, is a perpetual plane.

So what about when I log into my computer and have a video conversation with him during our (Northern Hemisphere's) winter and observe sunlight, when you claim Antarctica to be a realm void of light.

If that were indeed the case, it would only mean that our predictions about the sun and its effects are inaccurate.

It says nothing about the true shape of the earth.

Tom,

Ehm... What about the cold war?  Two superpowers engaged in constant tension, stand-off and occasional conflict for 50 years.  I wonder how many times we actually came to the brink of nuclear destruction? Probably more times than history records.

Or was the entire cold war part of the conspiracy?

I haven't performed it and I've never claimed to. I've have trouble being in two places at the same time.

Indeed, they were involved in the space race, (which according to FE thoery (and other conspiracy theories) never happened). The moon was the political objective, but an offshoot of the technology developed were rocket to deliver nuclear weapons, ICBMs.

Because a) The American Government and NASA are probably capable of such things
b) "Evidence" in the footage of the moon landings
c) they are retarded.
