I'm not talking about the legal consequences. Drinking and driving is stupid, blatantly. I understand drinking like one beer or something and driving, but there's no excuse for driving around above the legal limit. It's just poor judgement. While I like getting drunk, I also feel it's important to actually know what it's really doing to your body. If I'm getting drunk, I'm going to be at a place where I can crash for that night, otherwise I just won't do it.

Although it is not my all time favorite time sink, I am actually enjoying it. I am now level 8.

I have played less than 3 hours. I am enjoying the fact that, as you level up, your character physically looks more badass. Muscles changing, etc. Warhammer online will laud this, but this game here does it. When you see a level 99 orc berzerker, you know to walk the other way lol.

The pathfinding, as I said in the game thread, is atrocious. If you click past a fence to go someplace, but the fence is in the way, your avatar will stand at the fence, having a seizure. I just ignore that, and play, and I feel it is something to do when wow is down.

I despise the player-stores crap. People advertise shit constantly, and it can become tedious, but I just ignore the 'looking for auto loot grp' shit, and solo it. I am doing fine on my own, and I am already wearing impressive stuff for my lowbie level. My sword glows black, like death itself, and I am having a modest fun time with it.

It will never dethrone wow or EVE, but its something to do without paying for it.

That was one of the things that turned me off about the game.  I felt like I was on rails for the couple hours that I played.

I remember that the game looked pretty decent visually, but I didn't find the styles all that inspired--just looked like Final Fantasy knockoff architecture and characters.  But that's just me.

I might try it out again some time, though.

I have rarely made an ass out of myself drinking. My DUI's were matters of bad circumstance more than bad driving, but, i put myself in the posistion, so.... eh. You live you learn. And you are a young lil tyke. Cute.
