Thank goodness that the shadow object acts as a buffer for protection.

Do you have any outlandish claims to back up your evidence?

Look: The sun's crashed into the earth!

http://home.dei.polimi.it//bregni/photoart/vancouverisland/sunset.jpg

Pff, everyone knows that the sun is a flat disc pointing straight down.

When it gets far away.. it just.. umm.. faces who ever is looking at it. ..which is why it's always a perfect circle.

And as it gets far away, it LOOKS like it is moving down, but really, it's just getting far away, while also staying the exact same size due to whacky physics which don't make sense.

Did I mention that the sun was a giant mirror which reflects the heat of the naturally-icy-cold Earth back at 1,000 times the strength, and magically turns it into light as well?

Yeah, that's not overly complicated at all.

Guys, the sun is only the size of a quarter. And it lands near flagstaff every night; that's why the rocks there are so red.
Ignoring the truth does not make it go away, it just makes you ignorant and disempowered.

Can you change reality by inventing new names for ordinary things?

Incorrect, the sun is a sphere in Flat Earth Theory

Receding objects appear to descend in altitude due to basic perspective.

The sun is not a mirror. The sun is primarily composed of Hydrogen, Helium, Oxygen, Carbon, Nitrogen, Silicon, Magnesium, Neon, Iron, and Sulfer. The heat of the sun originates from a type of Smoldering combustion.

But Narcberry said it was flat. It's on now. fight fight fight fight

..why would you claim the sun actually makes sense.. it's round and composed of "stuff".. but then throw in "smoldering combustion". What the hell is that. Couldn't just leave one element of reality alone.

Smoldering combustion...now you have my attention
No problem solved in the least--and you only had to eliminate an entire continent to fail to accomplish it.

So wait.. things get smaller when they recede now??

Next you'll be telling to stop using snake oils to cure my elemental imbalance! What part of this flat Earth do you crazies come from!?
