150 Foot Ice Walls
« on: September 04, 2007, 09:53:48 AM »
If they are only 150 feet high then it is logical to presume that the atmosphere is only 150 feet high. So what happens to aircraft passengers/operators that take off from the surface or people who go for a relaxing drive across town on a path that happens to take them above 150 feet? Are their internals brutally destroyed and lives consequently wtfpwned by the massive sudden loss of pressure?

They suffer brain damage from lack of oxygen and come back to the tell the internets all about FE, of course! :)
My problem with his ideas is that it is a ridiculous thing.

Genius. PURE, undiluted genius.

Oh so that also explains how propeller or jet driven aircraft that require the movement of air as a method of producing thrust can be observed as ever having been above 150 feet! It *all* makes so much sense now! :D

its especially fun to climb mountains.

I think my favorite part of FE trying to defend this was the repeated "no, SURFACE TENSION keeps the atmosphere in!" despite my and others myriad proofs that surface tension exists soley between liquids and gases, not gases and vacuum. Definately one of the highlights of my time here.
Ignoring the truth does not make it go away, it just makes you ignorant and disempowered.

Can you change reality by inventing new names for ordinary things?

Dogplatter will tell you it is a 50,000 ft tall icewall. Tom will tell you that an infinite plane keeps the atmosphere in (not infinite, but close enough). Narc will say surface tension.

In other words, the 150 ft part doesn't factor in (except in Narc's but he's not serious).
I'm so tempted to put a scratch and sniff at the bottom of a pool and see what you do...

Avert your eyes, this is too awesome for them...

There is in FE theory.
The earth is flat, infinite, and fractal.  No icewall need exist.

Despite that you have no evidence for this, an infinite earth would require some sort of wall.  Other wise the air pressure would be much less than it is.

Keep that up, and you're be placed in the dingleberry club. (We ignore posters like Narcberry who seem unable to make any contributions--except as sport, of course.)

Let me get this straight, you know of a quite a few physics theories and you still believe in an aether?  Why am I even arguing with you?

Thats what I was thinking.  Aether, infinite earth, and fractal, something is not right.

Einsteins commentaries on the GR clearly state a logical necessity for non-particulate ether, as well as his writings with Lorenz.

Ok now which theory allows for an infinite earth?

Francios Trembley's theory does (as far as I'm aware).
