This thread is to demonstrate that anything can be debated endlessly, regardless of how absurd what your debating may be.

The example I am choosing to use is my computer.

The challenge is to you!  Any of you who wish to actually debate.

The claim:

My computer has a soul, and can think for itself.

I welcome all half witted challengers, as well as the truly scientific minded to convince me, that my computer is nothing more then a pile of electronics and plastic.

KIll it, so it can join the calculators in silicon heaven.

no, with all the porn he's probably got on his computer it'll go to silicon hell.

Who do computers go to for confessions? Is there a robo-priest?

I dunno about a soul but my computer certainly has a dry sense of humour. It knows exactly how and when to piss me off, every day.
if i remember, austria is an old, dis-used name for what is now Germany.

There was once, but it got shut down for downloading too much kiddy porn.

It does?

Yes if it has a big stick that you grab and pull it's a dude car.

And if you stick two fingers up a gap and pull back, it's a female.

My Dad's car has a foot-operated handbrake, not a hand-handbrake.

Is that a female car with foot fetish?
here is where we end up back at the question, are there boy robots?

In Short Circuit, Number 5 was "attracted" to a Feminine style waitress robot. And clearly did not show the same attraction for Numbers 1-4.

Just listen to the music of the traffic in the city,
Linger on the sidewalk where the neon signs are pretty
How can you lose? The lights are much brighter there...
You can forget all your troubles; forget all your cares, and go
Downtown -- things will be great when you're
Downtown -- you'll find a place for sure
Downtown -- everything's waiting for you

Downtown .... Downtown...

so are they boy neon signs or girl signs or does it depend on what they say?

Dude have you never heard of Short Circuit?

It's a movie about a military test robot that gets struck by lightning and comes to life. It's very 80's and really funny. There's some classic one-liners in it. Example:

HOWARD: Why can't he triangulate his position?
CROSBY: Can you triangulate your position?
