Been playing EVE Online lately, seeing as I just purchased my account (and recently purchased myself a purrty Matari Industrial Ship--the Mammoth has 4,000-something m3 of cargo space *drools*). Pretty amazing game.

I guess Linux uses different web addresses because http://"http://www.secondlife.com/" doesn't even come close to working.

I'm going to have to download the combat demo they have when I get home though.  I watched some videos of the engine seamlessly going from orbit to planet and almost destroyed my keyboard with drool.  I wish I knew how to code that insanity...and they one coder!!

Guitar Hero Encore: Rocks the 80's

Spent 50 bucks on that game, only to find there were just 5 songs I knew...

And only 3 of those I liked.

I am still convinced that the only good things that came out of the 80's are myself, and Ferris Bueller's Day Off.

My only problem with the game is my system sucks and doesn't like to play it.  >_<

yeah... my PS2 has some issues too, mainly because it was new in 2001. :p

What's your favorite song to play in GH/GH2/GH2E:80E?

I think my favorite to play out of all of them is Beast and the Harlot in GH2...so far, haven't gotten through 80's yet though...system just let me start playing today.

For me it's probably Sweet Child of Mine, as far as the sound of the song as a whole goes....

But I /do/ love the rhythm section of Beast and the Harlot.... it tends to break me though.

EDIT: The other parts of the song, not the rhythm section.

My favorite song to play on Guitar Hero is the one that involves the Off Switch on the PS2.

I have to skip that song.  If I turn off my PS2, it won't turn on for 3 months. =/

Eh, it's not for everyone. My brother can't stand it.

But then of course, he can't play it on easy, so I understand.

Everyone I've forced to play GH loves it...even if they thought it was stupid beforehand.
