It seems to me that you assume you are correct and try to back up the theory with evidence. You can't do that. You must find evidence for the theory and then try to proove its true. You can't first assume your theory is correct.

Light can't escape a black hole, so it would be hard for the light reflected off/produced by a black hole to enter a camera lens

It's interesting to note that new research in relativity suggests that we are able to see inside a black hole somehow! I don't exactly know how, and since I am not a relativist, I will not try to explain it. I also don't have any sources :)

I think that some of Stephen Hawkings' new work was about this.
