"A Question About Rowbotham"
« on: July 13, 2007, 08:23:23 PM »
Did this man sire descendants that live today?

Follow-up question:

Are they in similar circles?
My problem with his ideas is that it is a ridiculous thing.

Genius. PURE, undiluted genius.

I hope not... but with all the morons out there who knows, it's possible some of them are his. Then again, if that guy was anything like Tom is (or pretends to be) how the hell would he ever have gotten laid?? I mean.. come on..

The Rowbotham lineage.

I dare say Gulliver is related.

I personally think Tom Bishop is a descendant of Rowbothams. I can fathom no other reason, other than he's faking it, as to why he would so reverently follow E:NaG.
Haha Tom is so funny. He can't be serious, no one is that stubborn or dumb.

Rowbotham: So, uh, want to come up to my place?

GF: Oh Sam, I love you, we're going to travel around the globe.

Rowbotham: It's not a globe.

GF: Excuse me?

Rowbotham: The Earth is flat.

GF: ...Listen, I gotta go, I'll call you...(runs away).

Rowbotham: No!  Wait!  I can prove it!  Come get in this rowboat!

I guess I’ll have to confess.  I am very distantly related to one of the Zetetics, but only by marriage.  Of course, that means a blood relation to any progeny .  In fact, I was looking up some genealogy for an aunt when I ran upon this delightful website.

No, not Rowbotham, my connection is through the Blounts, who are rather respectable and not totally nutty.  I have a great fondness for eccentrics, salt for the soup you know, and I’m actually rather pleased with my very tiny, distant connection to the Flat Earth conclave.

Ain’t life strange?

I'm so tempted to put a scratch and sniff at the bottom of a pool and see what you do...

Avert your eyes, this is too awesome for them...
