Distance to the moon

Why has no FE'er ever pointed a large laser at the moon to verify its distance???? if it as close as you guys say it is then it should be a no brainer to show that distance.
Only 2 things are infinite the universe and human stupidity, but I am not sure about the former.

Well it's really not complicated. If you see in the FE standard evasion algorithm section IIV part 7.4: Avoid any experiment that disproves the FE theory.

Our technicians have been working hours on end trying to re-program this but, so far, to no avail.

Just to talking to the wall I suppose, but there's an experiment in the RE Primer that describes how two people can measure this distance. There's even a worked example with photographic evidence. You need nothing more than two digital cameras, one for each person, some distance, and a little effort.

You realize you cannot just point a laser at something and have it bounce right back at you. Even RE'ers in their conspiracy used mirrors on a lunar landing. So ironically, you ask why we dont ever do it but you never did either.

Nowadays they bounce off other types of waves so mirrors are not needed.  Thats how we know the distance to Mercury and Venus.
