When I first started these forums, I had no idea how popular they would become. For the first month or two, there would be maybe 1-2 new users every day. I thought I could run the place by myself. But more and more people joined and I went through a period where I just couldn't devote as much time to the site as I wanted to. The forums became cluttered with spam, trolls and all sorts of junk.
A few concerned users stepped forward and asked if they could help. They weren't flat earth believers, but they really seemed to enjoy the unique little community we had on these forums. I decided to delegate some of the responsibility of running the forums to them. Ever since then, the forums have been so much better. The difference is really amazing. The number of spam messages has dropped dramatically and the quality of discussions has improved just as dramatically.
So, EnragedPenguin, pspunit and Cinlef, I want to thank you for all the hard work you've done to make this site what it is today. You guys have been great and I really, sincerely appreciate everything you've done on here. Thank you.
