I am not an FE'er, but I'm assuming that these are the theories (correct me if I'm wrong)

1. The same was as in RET.
2. "Ice wall" is a general term for everything from the initial ice cliffs to tundras, mountains, etc. when you go southward.
3. I don't know/am too lazy to look it up.

I'm also an REer, but I believe these are correct.
1) The earthquake waves bend as they travel.  The assumptions scientists use when mapping these waves are that the Earth is round and that the waves travel in a straight line.
2) Pretty sure it's ice, but it's just a wall that holds water in and stuff.
3) Tom Bishop says that the Coriolis Effect is caused by a "gear" effect at the equator, where the sun is.  The "gears" cause storms and stuff to turn in separate directions, and the "gears are caused by the sun.
