Lol. I think the films are great though- better written, generally great for kids.

Utter failure.  As a general rule, a book is always better than a movie, because the book gives you freedom of imagination, and they allow you into characters' heads.

Fuck that, the special effects in the movie are always better than they are in my head, I want my thinking done for me when it comes to this shit.

I usually like to see and read. I mean, I loved Spiderman when I was a kid. Ths new movie has crammed in 3 villains; Venom, Sandman (pointless) and New Gbin. I'd have preferred concentrating on Gobbo, with Sandman nreserve. Put Venom in the next one, with Carnage.

With only...48 days, 13 hours, 22 minutes, and 13 seconds left until the seventh book comes out, I thought we'd all post our predictions.
- Snape is good.
- Harry is a Horcrux.
- Dumbledore is definitely dead.
- R.A.B. is Regulus A. Black.
- Snape will live (maybe).
- Peter Pettigrew will pay his life debt to Harry.
- Malfoy will die while on the run from Voldemort.
- Neville Longbottom will kill Belatrix Lestrange.
- The other six horcruxes that Voldemort knows about are:
   * The Diary.
   * Slytherin's Ring.
   * Slytherin's Locket.
   * Hufflepuff's Cup.
   * Ravenclaw's Wand.
   * Nagini the Snake.

Snape will die killing Voldemort.

Edit: He does it to save Harry Potter by the way.

Nah, he'll die protecting Harry, but I think Harry will be the one to kill Voldemort.

I bet Ron kills Voldemort. He'll then expose Harry as part of the conspiracy and prove that the world is flat.

Then, he and Hermione will have a night of hot steamy sex, and 9 months later, a demented little satanic spawn will emerge from her lady area and take Voldemorts place, killing Ron and then magically making the world round.

Then peace will persist throughout Voldemort v2's reign.

When I first got a Harry Potter book for Christmas, I though it was one of those detective novels ore something that they sell in Wal-Mart, so I didn't read it.  One day I complained that I was bored and my Mom was like, "Why don't you read that book you got?"  So I read the first page and I couldn't stop.  You know:

Mr. and Mrs. Dursley, of number four, Privet Drive, were proud to say that they were perfectly normal, thank you very much. They were the last people you'd expect to be involved in anything strange or mysterious, because they just didn't hold with such nonsense.

I looked at the spoiler because I haven't read the books and don't really care.  But it's pretty juicy, if it's true.

1. Little kids read harry potter.
2. Who cares.
3. Harry backhands the annoying redhead british chick.
4. Ron realizes he is homosexual.
5. Harry potter changes his name to Dr. cosmic.
6. Annoying redhead chick creates a myspace account and posts nude pictures of herself on it.
7. Dr. Cosmic takes a shit that permanently clogs the schools toilets.
8. I don't know where I thought I was going with these predictions.
9. Somebody really should backhand that redhead chick.
