I've seen satellites move across the sky. Like, really seen them. Not ALL satellites can be seen, but MIR could be seen before it crashed.

I ask Tom Bishop to use the applet that I linked to and see for himself.  Satellites (And not just the ISS) are quite visible to the naked eye.  That's a fact that I can personally ascribe to.

Google search as evidence?  Come on Tom.  You wrapped your head around stellar parallax in another topic; surely you're smart enough to know that finding a statement (taken out of context) in a search engine result queue doesn't make it true!

[Edit] My apologies to Tom.  The question of the post count and identity has been resolved.  It just didn't seem reasonable that you would cite a google search of a statement as proof of the statements truth.  That combined with the low post count made me a little confused.  Again my apologies.

Let's not start another "What's Tom all about, is he even real?" debate. The International Space Station CAN be seen moving from Earth and is NOT geostationary, as detailed in the source provided. Tom, your reply?
