Prester John & Shambhala
« on: May 08, 2007, 10:42:08 AM »
Hi,
Have any of you heard of Prester John or Shambhala?

Prester John was a man who supposedly made a letter to ancient leaders about his kingdom which contained phoenixes, fountains of life, unicorns and other mysteries.
This legend was believed for hundreds of years and people became obsessed with finding it, with each new country discovered people kept saying that his kingdom was further away, until at last all the countries had been discovered and the legend was debunked.

An interesting point is that Prester Johns kingdom matches almost exactly to that of Shambhala, an ancient city in Buddha legend.

I am studying various theories that state that the kingdoms did actually exist, and they are where we get traditional legends about creatures like the unicorn and fountains of life.

One part of my research said that the Hollow Earth theory might be real, and that these kingdoms existed inside Earth itself.

At the moment I was interested to find your site, is it possible that Prester Johns kingdom, or Shambhala does actually exist, but is beyond our known world (beyond the edges of the flat earth)?

Tell me what you think.

I think the Earth is round and definitely not hollow. Myth and legends are interesting indeed, but they are hardly likely to represent real truth. Much more likely is that this far away kingdom is like 'heaven' - something to aspire to and reach for, but that very few ever try to actually visit.

The Earth cannot be hollow because it is flat-but under the Earth those kingdoms may exist alongside the elephants and turtles holding it up.

This site is real.  We believe in the flat Earth as foretold by the Bible.

This site is most definitely real.  The jokers here are primarily the RE'ers.
