In General Discussion, there is a RE FAQ which states the polar and equatorial diameters of the Earth:

Now, if you suppose that the gravitational acceleration is inversly proportional to the square of the distance, you'll get:

delta = gpolar/gequator - 1 =
=(dequator/dpolar)2 - 1 = 0.659%

Now, the real difference was 0.53%. This is not a small descrepancy (it's over 24%). How can you explain that?

clearly the three different sources indicate three different numbers. so far i, per, and bushido are off slightly. the question remains...WHY ISN'T IT ZERO? so far we have 3 sources, all of which vary slightly, but so far not a single source has been found that claims they are the same, which it should be under FE.

Yes, but RE theory should present a conclusive number that is consistent with the experimental evidence.

i'll get right on that. meanwhile, FE theory should present a conclusive number (zero) that is consistent with experimental evidence, and so far 3 different studies agree this is not the case.

So far, there has been only 1 measurement presented here. My data was a calculation based on that measurement. You have just presented a mostly qualitative picture with the number 0.3% pulled out of a hat.

Please note that regardless of the circular motion of the Sun and the Moon, they always stay the same distance from the North Pole. The variation would be on other geographic latitudes.

However, there is a change in the acceleration of free fall on a given point on the Earth's surface and is called tidal effect (explained due to the gravitational pull from the Moon and the Sun). So, measuring a weight (not mass) to 4 significant figures would have given a variation during the day.

the tidal effect from the gravitational pull of the moon? yes in RE, in FE i thought gravity didn't exist and tides were caused by an inexplicably wobbling earth...
