Here is a simple experiment to show whether the earth is flat, or if it is round.

Flat Earth
East is always counter-clockwise around the north pole. This is always the case.

Round Earth
East is counter-clockwise around the north pole above the equator. East is clockwise around the south pole below the equator.

Experiment
Navigate east along the Antarctic coasts. If you are turning left, you are on a flat earth. If you are turning right, you are on a round earth.

Way to pose a proof that your very theory makes impossible.

1. No one is allowed near the ice wall - whoops! Can't travel around Antarctica then.

2. There is no method agreed upon by the members of this forum to tell what direction one is going. For example you FE'ers say that when one travels in a "straight line" over large distances, you're actually being mislead into going in a circle.

Yeah I don't understand how people 'accidentally' travel in circles. What is tricking us into doing this? Not our compasses...early explorers used the stars to navigate. How does that work?

Finally, something sensible from Narcberry! (no sarcasm)

The only problem with this is the FEers would force us to prove that our compasses were actually pointing north and our GPS wasn't malfunctioning.

A balloon based GPS never goes wrong....until a bird flies into one of the balloons and your positioning 'satellite' whizzes around the upper atmosphere before falling limply into the sea.

The circular motion of the stars will lead to circular paths.

O i see now. 

East is always right when facing north.  Clockwise and counter clockwise have nothing to do with it. 

You need to refine your experiment.  If your looking at Antarctica east will always be left, on both maps. 

Edit: Now i get it, turn left and right means which way you have to turn to keep going east.  Not to go east initially.

Very good experiment, except for the whole problem with actually performing it. (I'm not being sarcastic BTW, it actually is good)

There are very many solid proofs available to both sides here. The problem that they all share is that they are very difficult to carry out since they usually involve traveling very large distances while accurately recording your path and direction.
