I'm still around, I just post a whole lot less, for a variety of reasons.

For one thing, I work more demanding hours now, and have a lot less time to post, but also I must confess I sometimes grow tired of all the trolling and recycled "HOW COME YOU CAN FLY AROUND THE WORLD" posts as well, but I'm glad on my periodic checking of the boards that some unique, serious discussion is still taking place. I still try and fulfil my moderation duties as best I can, removing obvious spam and checking out problem posts.

Anyway, perhaps I'll make an effort to post a bit more regularly again, despite my stretch for time. It's nice to be venerated and missed, thanks for the post!

Dogplatter, I know how you feel - the redundancy is starting to take it's toll on me, and I fear that it won't be too long before I disappear for an indefinite period of time.

Don't go Bog :(. When I first joined this site, I admit I was here to ridicule you guys, but after reading threads and FAQS I developed somewhat of  a respect for you. I still your ideas are ridiculous, but admire your vigor on the matter.

If Dogplatter goes, do we still believe the earth is flat?

As long as you're here, no new people will believe the earth to be flat.  And if he goes, hopefully everyone will stop believing this nonsense of a flat earth.
