Come on, surely you figured out Tom is a troll by now?

It crossed my mind, but if he is then he's one of the most deadpan trolls I've ever seen. I've never seen him admit any sort of Round Earth belief whatsoever (well, apart from his constant pro-newton gravitational arguments).

Oh he's a good troll, there's no doubt about that. Has almost everyone fooled.

Interestingly, it should perhaps be noted that the arguments for ghosts presented in this thread are of a similar caliber to the arguments presented for Round Earth in other threads.

In this thread we have pictures of ghosts, the argument that people claim to have seen ghosts, and an attempt at providing a possible theory of physics which might allow ghosts to exist.

In FED&D and FEQ&C we have pictures of a Round Earth, the argument that people claim to have been to space and seen the Earth's roundness, and attempts at providing possible theories of physics which might allow the Earth to be round.

Yet I don't imagine for a moment. that 99% of the world population believe in ghosts.

You assume that ghosts are the 'souls'/residual energy/whatever left over by dead people. What if they're a completely different species of animals, including human shaped ones which are composed of matter we have not been able to identify? Ghosts are still alive.

You missed my point. I don't assume there are ghosts.

I don't believe in ghosts or the afterlife as I've never had an experience of anything like that or seen anything convincing to make me believe it. Its a nice thought though, I'm the sort of person who wants to be convinced about it but up to now, I don't think there are ghosts.
