The world accepts a round earth
« on: April 09, 2007, 08:43:29 PM »
The famous round-earther argument: "you guys are idiots, the whole world knows the earth is round so stfu, son'ed"

Welcome to the world we live in. These are the reasons the earth is round:

OMG, I've been ignoring the giants all around me, the world truly must be round!!

Let me get this straight.  You start a worthless thread to make fun of another member?  Shall we look at your award winning threads?  Like the one that said my kitchen floor is flat so the world must be flat.

Another thing.  The only other person I know that thinks theres multiple suns is Franc T., Planar.  And the funny thing is he doesn't come here anymore.  ANd he used to start worthless threads just like you.

Finally someone catches Franc without my prompting.
My problem with his ideas is that it is a ridiculous thing.

Genius. PURE, undiluted genius.

Yes there are multiple suns, but Earth only uses one.
GPS does not require satellites, fortunately it uses it.

You don't consider stars as the sun?

Thats a really funny website. I'll bet a lot of round-earthers dont even notice the intentional flaws of his experiments.

You could not have read it all that fast smartass....you tell us to do your experiments so why can't you do a simple one yourself?

I have done experiments of my own. But you are right, I have not read the entire experiments. I scanned through the text and focused on the pictures (my time is precious). It didn't take long to recognize these as familiar experiments, but still funny ones.

Would you care to explain what's flawed about it then, so that I don't waste my time on it?

It's simple really. We have recently discovered that observing small particles will change their behavior. When many of these small particles exist together, in effect creating a large body or mass, this effect is carried out on a larger scale. This means that the simple act of having a camera there, changed the outcome of the experiment. The experiment would have more accurate results if it were left, unobserved.
