I'd have to ask you what the hell a nihilist is, and why it doesn't fall under the "other" catagory.

Those questions in the poll are loaded questions. Pass.
My problem with his ideas is that it is a ridiculous thing.

Genius. PURE, undiluted genius.

Because they believe that the Earth doesn't exist - if it doesn't exist, how the fuck can it be flat/round?

If you believe the questions aren't valid, or can't understand them, then feel free to post the religion you practice and which theory you believe it instead of voting.

I'd have to ask you what the hell a nihilist is, and why it doesn't fall under the "other" catagory.

Because they believe that the Earth doesn't exist - if it doesn't exist, how the fuck can it be flat/round?

Oh, well they don't count, because according to their believes they don't exist.

It says "I don't believe in the flat Earth." That doesn't mean that they believe in the round Earth automatically. ;) Loophole DESTROYED.

I'm a...confused christian (Don't ask me to go into logistics there, I believe there's a god but I'm not sure what form he/she takes) but you seem to assume that religious people will instantly believe a FE. Not true.

No, not Athiest as I believe there is a god, closer to Agnostic if I'm honest but my basic belief that an understanding of god must be a personal thing, unrestricted by religious prejudices

EDIT: Ah sorry, were you saying you're an Athiest, sorry, bit of confusion there, my bad ;)

Everybody makes assumptions, but atleast I'm asking questions.

I would, numbnuts, but even though this is supposed to measure who believes in a flat earth, there is no answer for people who don't!  What a moronic poll!

The choices do not cover all the possible cases. There is the possibilty of a religious person who doesn't believe the Earth is flat!

EDIT:
Although s/he could select the last choice, the poll implies that only religious persons believe in a Flat Earth model.

What's the point of this voting?  It proves nothing.

Re: Religion Survey
« Reply #19 on: April 03, 2007, 09:28:48 PM »
The poll doesn't imply anything, the poll covers all options that relate to the topic and the poll itself. Its pretty simple people, stop making a big deal out of it.

If you're wondering why I made this poll, its because I want to get a general idea of the relation between religion and the flat earth theory. I'm not interesting in people that follow a religion, and believe the earth is round.
