I HAVE SEEN THE LIGHT!
« on: April 01, 2007, 08:59:27 AM »
That's it.  I have seen the light.  I woke up this morning and realized the FE is just...not possible.  I mean how can gravity not exist?  I've even witnessed a Foucault pendulum at my old alma mater rotate to knock over golf tees!  GPS doesn't require satellites?  Pfft!  Google Earth?  I've used it to see my house!

How could I have been so blind?!?  From this day forward, it's RE ALL THE WAY!!

Unn, I don't know. Can people just change so quickly?

Anyway, congratulations. Now the next question, is Spacetime flat or round?  ;D

So many questions, no logical answers.

My problem with his ideas is that it is a ridiculous thing.

Genius. PURE, undiluted genius.

Even if he's being sarcastic, he was never a real FE'er. There are very very few true believers on here. It's all about debating here, not whether or not the earth is flat, round, square, the colour of the sky etc. ;)

nice April Fool's though. Should have posted a link in my thread lol

If you really changed your mind, thats good, and I'm happy about it cause it was I who mentioned Google Earth and the gravity thing.

But if you didn't, then i guess this is your idea of a April fools joke  ;)

Yep, only April Fools!

Gravity does not exist, Foucault's pendulum only indicates rotation, GPS does not require satellites and the pictures in Google Earth look exactly like the ones I've taken from an airplane.

Man, it was tough living the lie for those few hours!

Lol you took pictures from 100 miles up?  You took pictures above planes that are flying at 36,000 feet?  Bonnie and Clyde.   Foucault's pendulum does only indicate rotation, something the Fe model doesn't do.

I think theengineer is just having fun on these forums, he doesn't actually believe the earth is flat. I think that is how it is with most people....
