Here are some arguments from Aristotle that proove the spherical earth theory:

1)Every portion of the earth tends toward the center until by compression and convergence they form a sphere

2)Travelers going south see southern constellations rise higher above the horizon

3)The shadow of Earth on the Moon during a lunar eclipse is round

How do you explain that?

1.  I don't get your point.
2.  There are numerous threads about this isn't there?
3.  The "Shadow Object". Ask Tom Bishop about that one.  I think it's just a lame-ass FE escuse of an explanation.

I'm not sure for the first one either :P To tell you the truth, I just copy/pasted that from wikipedia and there it said it is a evidence for it being round

Wikipedia scored high on its professional ranking.  It's just as, if not more, reliable than any other source on the internet.  And go ahead and try to put false information on Wiki, I'm sure the mods will reject it.  After all, all added information has to go through them.

Wikipedia can be very useful, maybe it has some wrong info, but that is so little it isn't important

As long as it isn't your only source, Wiki is great.  Unless it's for school.

Assuming there's gravity...

2)Travelers going south see southern constellations rise higher above the horizon
There's different constellations in view in the southern hemisphere.

It's not the Earth's shadow. I also disagree with the "Shadow Object"--I'm pretty sure Tom Bishop is the only moron to support that idea--but it could easily be other interferences between the Earth and the moon. It's not like it happens often, anyways.

Read my statement again. They see the same (southern) constellations going higher, not some different ones
