That post is quite right. I simply stated that at the time you made the claim, you did not know how acceleration in relativity worked. I can see in the progression of our conversations, you have picked up the basics of acceleration quite nicely. I am impressed, as most people just give up, and don't bother to actually research the position presented, in contrast to yourself.
To be honest, there is a lot of stuff that if I don't use on a daily basis, I just plain forget about. 99% of the calculations I have to use are Newtonian. The main thing I was doing when I made my initial statement was using the wrong FOR. I was trying to point out that the earth wouldn't continue accelerating at 1g, because it would get more massive, etc. but of course that would have to have been from an outside observer, which, as I pointed out in the post I linked to, makes no sense if, as the FEers claim, everything is moving with us. That was the mistake, mainly because I really didn't understand your POV initially until you explained it again. So, it was a combination having to re-think everything from a different perspective along with just regular old-age brain-farts.
BTW, I don't know why people get so mad at you. You seem to be genuinely helpful in pointing out where people make mistakes.
