Yes it's valid. But you can't call it unbiased. It does not accommodate for those who believe the earth to be round. :) Therefore not collecting accurate results on the beliefs of the whole population.

Ha ha! I would rather give in to the abstract philosphical notion that nothing exists except for my thoughts rather than muddle in uncertainty or admit to a flat Earth!

I still have not taken a side. I am unconvinced about the validity of either model. But I am continuing to observe, and learn and will eventually come to my own conclusion.
